Solid Starts Founder Jenny Best Announces New Executive Team

NEW YORK, NY — January 14, 2026 — Today, Solid Starts founder Jenny Best announced two new executive positions to support the organization’s rapid growth as a global leader in early childhood feeding. Since its inception six years ago, Solid Starts has grown into a world-recognized authority, with its award-winning app now serving more than six million users, providing trusted, evidence-based feeding guidance to families and pediatric professionals around the world.

Best has decided to step into a new role as Executive Chair, where she will support the executive team as an advisor while long-time team member Kary Rappaport will serve as Executive Director. Rappaport is a board-certified feeding therapist with two decades of clinical experience and is a founding member of the Solid Starts team. As Executive Director, she will lead the development of Solid Starts’ core educational tools and ensure the Solid Starts App meets the highest standards of clinical integrity.

Best also announced the hire of Yuliya Lennox as General Manager to guide day-to-day operations. With a background in scaling global consumer products and innovation in technology, Yuliya brings deep operational expertise and comes at a much-needed moment of rapid growth and change.
