The course reviews the social determinants of health, trauma-informed nutrition, motivational interviewing, and cultural humility principles. Included are in-depth case study discussions and examples of applying skills and incorporating philosophies in realistic patient care settings. Upon completion, you will earn a certificate that you can share with patients, clients, professional organizations, and colleagues demonstrating your knowledge of nutrition counseling.
